We draw your attention to the arrival on the market of Wii™ consoles equipped with a new D2C drive.
This drive has got the characteristic to be, for the moment, incompatible with the whole available modchips.
The consoles equipped with this new drive can be identified through their serial numbers starting with "LEF".
Inside, the drive is presented with a metal pin "Y" on top of the spindle.
Motherboard side, the number printed with black ink starts with "AMX" instead of "AMW" or "NMW" previously
(can be found on some series from "LEH184xxxxx[x]" also).
Currently only D2Pro™ V2 is announced as being compatible with this new model.
